Ace of Hearts Creek Rotary Park

Off-leash Dog Park

Anacortes, WA

The Ace of Hearts Creek Rotary Park at 38th & H Avenues is now under construction.   The site will accommodate a 1.5 acre fenced dog park, a baseball field and an extensive wetland and pond system from the Ace of Hearts Creek. The new park complex is a community and City of Anacortes project. Anacortes Noon Rotary Club as well as FIDO (Fidalgo Islanders for Dogs Off-leash) are assisting through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

The new park will be developed in stages as funding becomes available. The dog park portion will be the first area worked on and it is hoped to be ready for fencing by summer 2008, although the entire project may take as long as 5 years.

We plan on also adding landscaping such as trees, structures such as a gazebo and benches to the dog park, so now is a great time to offer your help!

Please see Events for current projects, events, and fundraising opportunities.

Water at the Dog Park:  If you are a visitor of the dog park you know that we do not have running water.  Please help out and take a jug home to fill and bring back at your next visit -- it is be greatly appreciated!  Thank you to all who regularly fill the empty jugs.
